The Love of Those Two

This is for the two who began a love

Sweet, innocent like a child

Pure as the pearls of the morning dew

Silent as the still, serene night

Where they would always wish

Wish under the dark sky

Like the wish of a thousand shooting stars

This is for the two whose love grew and rooted

Even though they were not meant to be

Even though distance kept them apart

Since fate was not their friend, chances too

Those two, whose desire was only to love freely

Wishing

Together

Under a thousand shooting stars

This is for the two

Who at the end, loved like no any other did

Like no one will ever do

But lived two separate lives, never to cross paths

Since fate, chances too, led them to a decision

That their love, those two, will be eternal

Even if they cannot be together

Even if they will never be together

In this life

And under one dark clear sky they wish—

That fate be kinder in the next

And tears, like  a thousand shooting stars, fall.
